Chandler Picard

Chandler is 13 years old, and has been tap dancing for 6 years. While training in all styles of dance, she loves tap dancing the most because she enjoys creating rhythms & music with her feet, and has a ton of fun doing it. She loves having the opportunity to learn from so many incredible tap dancers in the tap dance industry, various styles of each unique individual, and the history behind the art. Chandler has had the opportunity to work with amazing artists through regular training, master classes, tap & jazz festivals across the country, conventions, and residencies; and educates herself through history, music theory, performance viewing, and mentoring younger dancers, assisting in their classes.

Chandler is excited to be on Moore Rhythm & Co. where she can continue her training, get involved in the community, meet new friends, and be a part of a team!

Fiona Sartain

Fiona “Fifi” was born and raised in swing rhythm. She learned her first shuffle from Claudia Gomez and soon after, Kathy Landry taught her discipline and a dancer’s work ethic. When she was 6 years old, she met Michela Marino Lerman and Joseph Wiggan, saw them perform, and at that moment, gained a new found respect and love for tap dance. Soon after, she joined Danceology Tap Co under the direction and mentorship of Megan McBride Moore and Allison Hill. At 10 years old, Fiona’s favorite things about tap are learning about the history from all the living legends, doing improv and dancing to live jazz, but she also enjoys performing and competing- having most recently earned the gold medal in the mini division at the American Tap Championships.

When she is not tap dancing, you can find Fiona on the dance floor doing the Lindy Hop at local and national swing dance events. While she trains in all dance forms, at the end of the day, tap is still the dance that makes her heart the happiest. Fiona is thrilled to be part of Moore Rhythm and Co.
